Pamela Stohrer is a cum laude graduate of the University of New Hampshire, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education. For 42 years she was a public school music educator, teaching General Music, Chorus, Drama, keyboard, guitar and recorder. She also maintained a private piano studio in her home. She is a graduate of Music for Healing and Transition Program, and currently works as a live therapeutic musician at Concord Hospital, various nursing homes, and hospice patients both in facilities and private homes. She also has an active career as a Celtic harpist, providing music for weddings, funerals, and various Celtic and civic events throughout south-central New Hampshire. Together with her husband John, she manages the well-respected and long-running Open Door Coffeehouse in Hillsborough, NH.
