Jessica Toupin

Jessica Toupin, a young lyric soprano, is a recent graduate from UMass Amherst with dual degrees in Vocal Performance and Mathematics. She spent this past summer as a Resident Artist with Opera North covering the role of Antonia in Tales of Hoffmann . In 2018 at UMass Amherst, she made her debut in the role of Gretel in Hansel and Gretel and won the Concerto
Competition. She also recently debuted the role of Hester Prynne in the world premiere of Eric Sawyer’s The Scarlet Professor with 5 College Opera. In 2016, Jessica made her international debut with the AIMS Orchestra under the baton of Lukas Beikircher in Graz, Austria.

Additionally, Jessica has sung as the soprano soloist in Fauré’s Requiem (Mount Holyoke College), Brahms’ Requiem (Pioneer Valley Symphony) and Schubert’s Mass in G (UMass Amherst). She is thrilled to be joining Opera Saratoga this upcoming summer as a Festival Artist.
